The Chronophages are enormous planet-sized seroents which feast on a planet's time. In the Sakura Cosmos, they are viewed as a great cosmic evil because of the concequences their actions cause.

Chronophages are enormous black serpents, they appear to have no solid form. The serpents feed on planetary time, stripping a planet of it's time, causing the planet's history to be rewinded and turns the rewinded history into the planet's new present, this also prevents any time paradoxes that could have possibly occured. After a planet's time has been devoured, the existence of anyone that was currently on the planet will be completery erased.
