Alien Species

The Charnocks are an extraterrestrial species which can travel through space without spaceships, by hijacking asteroids. They are infamously known as interstellar terrorists.

Biology[]

Charnocks are quite big, more massive than a human being. Their head vaguely resembles that of a shark, with three eyes on each side. Wide membranous wings - one large pair and another smaller one - enable them to fly. They also secrete an adhesive web-like fluid from the mouth to immobilize other creatures, not unlike spiders with their silk. Those creatures use asteroids, instead of spacecrafts, when they travel between planets or stellar systems. Their skin is desiccated when entering the atmosphere, after which they molt it.

Physically very tough, Charnocks can resist brutal asteroid-speed atmospheric entry and crashing on Earth, as well as powerful energy weapon discharges without apparent injury, being only slowed down. They also possess vast superhuman strength, being able to tear through a titanium armored room with little effort.

History[]

A particular Charnock came to Earth in search of a Void Density Core, a small sphere-like device capable of acting like an artificial black hole for waste management purposes only, but was outlawed due to intergalactic terrorists. He needed it to use on the Chrysler Building, which is in reality a launch pad of the Relserks, a peaceful alien race and enemy to the Charnock. According to K, the Charnock wanted to keep the Relserks from ever going home. The Charnock is finally destroyed by the Void Density Core launched against it as it was attempting to flee in the air.
