The Ceronians are a species native to the winter planet Cerion.
Biology[]
Ceronians are glimmering blue skinned six feet tall humanoids. The had two ears that were slightly pointed, eyes coming in colors like lavender, noses that were narrow and straight, and hair white as snow. The species has adapted to cold and snowy temperatures. Ceronians are capable of reproducing with humans.
History[]
Ju'kar, the prince of the Ceronians wanting to erase his pain of losing his human concubine came to DuBar to survey the market of Garra Tar owned by the Tukok Kondor. He chose to buy the human woman, Emma, outbidding all by offering a moon to the greedy Tukok.
After bringing Emma to his homeworld, it began a passionate tryst. Members of the royal court, King Ab'deen and Queen Ju'mora, were introduced to her. Though initially believed that Emma was their son's latest fancy, and would eventually marry a proper Ceronian, instead Ju'kar found himself falling in love with his slave like before. Emma though was warned by another human salve that Ju'kar was rumored to have been responsible for the death of his previous human lover, and urged her to escape the planet. Shortly afterwards the informant was found killed.
Due to this rumor and the death of the other slave, it caused Emma to have doubts on Ju'kar, causing her to make plans to escape Cerion. However she was caught by Ju'kar's father who was revealed to be the true murderer of both Ju'kar lover and the other slave. Just when he was about to force himself on Emma, Ju'kar came to her rescue, killing his father.
His death was not mourned by his family, as his queen had suspected her mate's infidelity for sometime. After this Emma was given a chance to return to Earth, though she declined, wishing to remain with Ju'kar. After Ju'kar was crowned king, he located Emma's companions who were with her when she was abducted from Earth. And later decreed that slavery of humans was illegal under the penalty of death.
Some year later, the two would have a child together who would also fall in love with a human woman.
Culture[]
The Ceronians hail from an empire known as the Frozen Realm, centered on the planet Cerion and ruled by a royal family. Said family is wealthy enough that the price of a moon or even a planet is trivial.
Some Ceronians are known to study the Ja Du, a manifestation of energy which all beings are capable of using. The concept holds that all life forms are made of energy and by combining individual forces they not only connect with the universe but evolve. The Ja Du is about connecting, growing, opening yourself to absorb another's energy. When beings employ its use they can transfer emotions to one another and sometimes create a more passionate and strong tie.
