Celestialsapien (A play on "celestial," meaning from the stars, and "sapient," a term for intelligent) is the species of Alien X from Forge of Creation
Appearance
Celestialsapiens are fairly simple in physical design. They are silhouette-like humanoids that can range from any size. The inside their bodies resemble outer space, and they have white star-like dots scattered inside their body and three trident-like horns on their forehead. Their face only consists of white eyes with no pupils and no mouth.
Male Celestialsapiens' body is the shape of a muscular, male, human adult, female Celestialsapiens' body is the shape of a thin, female, human adult and Celestialsapien fetuses body is the shape of a human baby.
Personality
They prefer their shrouded existence in The Forge of Creation, as opposed to being involved with the "petty going-ons" of the rest of the universe. Celestialsapiens have three personalities: the voice of rage and aggression, the voice of love and compassion, and a voice of reason. Two out of three must agree on something in order for the Celestialsapien to perform any sort of action, although Ben Tennyson mannages to overcome this weakness by convincing Alien X's other two personalitie to let him control Alien X so they can argue in peace. All three voices speak in unison when the Celestialsapien speaks, and depending on what the voices agree on, they shout either "Seconded!",or "Motion carried!" if they agree.
Dwayne McDuffie Confirmed that Baby Celestialsapiens don't have multiple personalities.
Powers and Abilities
Celestialsapiens are basically completely omnipotent. They have a powerful ability to warp reality, meaning their thoughts can come to life, on a scale sufficient to recreate the universe itself. They apparently are able to alter time, space, and dimensions. Their reality warping is so powerful, that the personalities can even prevent the Celestialsapien from being destroyed just by agreeing that it won't. According to Kevin, it is very dangerous to disturb them while debating as "they can just blink, and you'd be gone". They're even powerful enough to recreate a destroyed universe and resurrect all the inhabitants.
Celestialsapiens can't manipulate mana directly. A Celestialsapien would have to alter the universe to change the nature of mana, and the personalities would have to agree.
Reproduction
If a female Celestialsapien is pregnant, a white orb grows on her wrist, in which the baby is growing.
According to Dwayne McDuffie, it takes a baby Celestialsapien 10,000 years to develop.
Alien X
The Omnitrix's DNA sample of Celestialsapien is Alien X. Alien X's three personalities are Bellicus (Anger), Serena (Love), and Ben Tennyson (Reason) A theory is when Azmuth took the Celestialsapien's DNA, he used his advanced technology to remove the voice of reason, so that it could be replaced by the wearer of the Omnitrix when they transform into Alien X. Another theory is that normal Celestialsapiens don't really have a voice of reason, Alien X has one due to Ben and the Omnitrix. It is also possible that Alien X was unique in the fact that they did not have a voice of reason, which is why they allowed Azmuth to take a sample of their DNA so that whoever used it would become their voice of reason. Another possibility is, since most species only has one voice, that the Omnitrix is designed to replace the mind of any alien with the users mind, and is not capable to replace more than one voice. Despit Alien X's power, Ben rarely uses his Celestial Sapien form, due to the headach of having to deal with Bellicus and Serena. This problem has recently been resolved, due to the agreement that Ben takes full control over Alien X, while Bellicus and Serena have fun disagreeing.
Facts
- Celestialsapiens always stand motionless while debating on what to do. It's only when all three personalities agree that they will move.
- Paradox is not allowed to be within 500 lightyears near a Celestialsapien, otherwise he will be destroyed for ignoring it. The reason for this is unknown.
- Even Celestialsapien personalities can be scared.
- All Celestialsapiens are born in the Forge of Creation. However, some are found in the Milky Way Galaxy, which explains how Azmuth gained the DNA sample for Alien X.
