The Catians are a species of human-like cat people from the planet, Catia. Many came to Earth due to lack of males.
Biology[]
All Catians resemble humans but they have cat-like ears on their heads, having a set of human ears and cat-like tails. After Catians sniffs some catnip, they goes into a hyper state, which they have to be given a taser charge to calm them down. Catians female/male ratio is 30:1 (one male to thirty females).
When a Catian goes through heat (similar to that of a regular cat) she becomes very emotional and sexual, and as a result must mate immediately. When a a young Catian goes through her first heat at the customary age of sixteen, she must take medicine to stop short her first mating season because it interferes with her job. Normally they have stimulus devices to satisfy their desire to procreate.
Culture, Society & Technology[]
The Catians have mostly been sexy, alluring and kindhearted young women (from what we know so far). Due to a lack of males, they seek out other species for knowledge about the other being & lifestyle and also to find a compatible mate and reproduce to prevent extinction. Thus under Catian law, males are allow to have polygamous marriages in order for their species to survive. They are also known to enjoy good food, especially ones on Earth. That was reason enough for Catians to come and visit.
They are an advance civilization that are capable of space travel, create chibi-size robots to assist with day to day tasks, virtual reality rooms (similar to a holodeck) with hardlight holograms, and space elevators. The bells around their neck are actually special devices to allow them to change clothes and into special uniforms. These uniforms allows them to have enhance strength, spawn weapons and greater durability. However, these abilities deactivate when a Catian is in heat.
The Catians are part of a galactic federation and are allowed onto Earth legally, but they have some problems with their rivals: The Dogisians. A race of dog people who are at odds with the Catians just like real cats and dogs.
