Red Dwarf Universe

Red Dwarf is a British science fiction sitcom centered around the adventures of Dave Lister, a young man who is put into statis on board a mining ship. Unfortunately, a radiation kills the rest of the crew while he is in suspended animation. Three million years later, he is re-awakened and stranded in the middle of deep space with his only company being a hologram of his dead bunkmate and arch-rival, the ship's artificially intelligent computer, a creature that evolved from his cat, and an android which learns to break its programming.
