Cat-men are a sapient species of feline-humanoid bipeds from Callisto, a moon of Jupiter. They're considered a rare species in the solar system, and are also distinguished by their keen intellect, which is higher than that of most other species.
Biology[]
Standing only a little taller than 5'3'' (~ 1.6 m), Cat-men are bipedal creatures which, as their name indicates, evolved from a cat-like ancestor. They have a long tail for balance, yellow-green eyes with slit pupils, and retractable claws on their hands and feet. A mane of fine blueish-grey fur covers their shoulders and also runs over their backs, from the middle of their eyes down to their tails. Their chests, forearms and abdomen are also partially covered in fur. They have pointed teeth and a reddish tongue, and some of them speak with hoarse voices.
Earth coffee is a highly addictive substance for them. The consumption of even small quantities of coffee can make them agitated to the point of extreme violence. Venusian coffee has such a drastic effect on them that it quickly results in death.
Culture and society[]
Little is known about the culture of the Cat-men, other than that they seem to operate in clans and have some form of religion. They hate Humans and their custom dictates that Humans should be killed on sight. Cat-men who associate themselves with Humans cannot go back to their own kind, and will be killed if they do.
