The Carrier is a singular instance of a parasitic, sentient growth that has taken hold of a metallic submarine cargo vessel. Only one of these creatures has so far been encountered.
Biology
The Carrier's exact appearance is unknown, as it is only ever found with a submarine shell over its body.
Behavior
Being a relative to the Velonaceps Calyx (presumably), the Carrier takes control of much larger organisms, preferably ones that are already dead. The one that was found had taken control of an old abandoned submarine known as a Nibbler - a type of cargo vessel. The outer "body" is covered in green algae and stained blood, with tentacle-like growth resembling Fractal Guardians protruding where the propellers would normally be as form of locomotion.
