Camiens are a subspecies of Cybertronians from Caminus, a moon belonging to a gas giant orbiting a dwarf star.
- "On my colony, on Caminus, we were so cold, so alone. The Primes so distant. To learn one is real... alive..."
- ―Midnight Express
Biology[]
Anatomy[]
Camiens share a similar biology to other Cybertronians.
Powers and abilities[]
Camiens share many of the same abilities as other Cybertronians.
Culture and society[]
Cut off from Cybertron and stranded on their resource-poor world, the Camiens developed a culture of conservation and careful energy husbandry. Camien warriors rely on swords instead of using consumption-heavy ranged weaponry.
Caminus' spiritual leader is a being known only as the Mistress of Flame.
Religion[]
Most Camiens are fanatically devoted to the lineage of the Primes, viewing even modern Primes as gods to be worshipped and followed without question. They are generally associated with Solus Prime, who they extol as the spiritual progenitor of Caminus and the greatest of the Primes.
Caminus hosts a flourishing artistic and spiritual community, in spite of its straitened infrastructure. Chief among them is the Way of Flame, a religion headed by the Mistress of Flame that deifies the lineage of the Primes.
In the absence of any actual Prime to issue commands, the Forgefire Parliament oversees the colony. Even so, the Parliament is quick to default to the commands of either the Mistress of Flame or a Prime should the opportunity arise.
History[]
Alternate history[]
During the Cybertronians' campaign with the Titan Masters, Skullsmasher and Titan Masters Grax and Terri-bull infiltrated Caminus and stole the codes to the intergalactic Space Bridge network for the Decepticons. The theft was detected by an Autobot spy team consisting of Blaster, Stripes, Rewind, and Titan Master Nightbeat. Blaster's team chased down the thieves and battled Skullsmasher's party for the codes in Caminus' streets.

Miscellaneous[]
Notes[]
- Since many of their Titan Caminus' systems were spread out and integrated into their civilization, the Camiens named their planet in his honor.
- Chromia is exclusively portrayed as a Camien in the 2005 IDW continuity, Cyberverse, and War for Cybertron Trilogy, being a regular Cybertronian in other media.
- The same kind of characterization applies to other Camien characters featured in the 2005 IDW continuity such as Aileron, Midnight Express, and Hot Shot.
- Chromia was listed as part of the roster of "Aligned" Star Seekers slated to appear in an early version of Transfomers: Prime's third season.[1] Given her occasional portrayal as a Camien, it is likely that she would have been portrayed as such.
- Despite the Star Seekers being replaced with the ancient Predacons, Chromia would go on to appear in the Prime: Beast Hunters tie-in comic as an Autobot.
