Bruisers are a cybernetic demonic species, with similar modifications as Mancubi.
Biology[]
Bruisers are tall, muscular humanoids with pale grey skin, bearing some resemblance to skeletal Hell Knights. Their heads bear two curved horns protruding from the back of their heads, pointing backwards, and two beady yellow eyes. As none have been seen without extensive modifications, their full organic appearance is unknown, although they presumably bear muscular humanoid forearms and legs, although their lower legs may have backwards knees and hoof-like feet. Bruiser cybernetics replace their forearms and lower legs at the joints, their lower legs being grey and terminating in somewhat hoof-like feet, while their lower arms are dull yellow flamethrowers, akin to those used by Mancubi, although thinner, and capable of shooting fireballs at a much faster rate. Their spines also appear to have been replaced, with visible cybernetics protruding out of their backs, and they have a cybernetic neck brace connected to their shoulders. Most notably, Bruiser mouths have been replaced with a snout-like cybernetic terminating in a screen, which display Human-like teeth and gums for unknown reasons, although they are most likely emulating Argenta rather than Humans. When Bruisers spot an enemy, their screens display a Human-like eye, and their digital mouths occasionally open and close while they walk.
History[]
Bruisers arose in Hell at an unknown point in time, being modified with Mancubus-like cybernetics at another point, likely by Jekkadians or with stolen technology. In the 22nd century, at least three Brusiers were summoend to Mars by a Human cultist named Malcom Betruger, where they confronted a Bravo Team marine trying to shut down the Hell portal, but were all killed. Shortly after the failed invasion of Mars, Brusiers were among a second invasion force sent by the Maledict to the already ruined Union Aerospace Corporation (UAC) Mars complex. A nameless Human marine sought to end the new invasion by killing the Maledict, finding and killing Bruisers on his way to get a teleporter to Hell. After the Maledict was killed, no more Bruisers were seen by Humans. Any Bruisers outside of Hell were destroyed after the Dark Lord Davoth was killed by the Doom Slayer.
