The Briharhi are a species native to a region of space accessible via a wormhole.

Biology[]

Briharhi resembled humans, with a dark skin which hovered between dark brown and brownish red. That color depended on where someone came from on their planet.

Briharhi weren’t slender, and were bigger than their human counterparts, but that didn’t stop them from being fast and agile.

History[]

After humanity discovered the wormhole to the region of inhabited space, Gloria and Brad, couple who owned the  cargo ship The Shakes became acquainted with the a pair of Briharhi Slal and Grist during their stops to the nearby Briharhi station.

On one supply run to deliver medical supplies to a location, The Shakes was nearly overrun by a pirate ship before they managed to escape to the safety of the wormhole and the well defended station.

After a meal the Briharhi offered the humans to introduce them to a Zroo invention which could cripple the pirate’s vessel. And while the method potentially their harassers the Briharhi believed it was a fair trade.

Culture[]

The Briharhi were one of the staunchest nude-going species. Even in snowy conditions, they’d go out with no clothes on.

Their people are said to train their minds through something akin to meditation. Through this and also their food helped in creating a strong buffer again the cold.

In social gathering, Briharhi never sat and instead stood or lie down.

Braharhi are said to be a peace-loving people. Though this does not mean they are pacifists, as they will do away with threats to their peace as quickly and quietly as possible.

They reason that by doing this their kind can have more peace. Thus they frown on dragging out prolonged conflicts for long periods of time.and such they prefer to strike without giving those that a anger them little time to react to make as less noise about the conflict as possible. It also serves as a warning to others who may plan to do the same to them. And conveys how the Braharhi think little for their aggressors in that they are not important to them.
