Bloodletters are Chaos Daemons which serve as the foot soldiers of Khorne. As entities of the Warp, Bloodletters are manifestations of the Blood God's will.

Biology[]

Bloodletters universally have red skin, a pair of horns and a thin, crooked body that belies their tremendous strength.

Culture and society[]

Bloodletters are renowned as the most vicious and formidable warriors in the galaxy and the Warp, driven by bloodlust to seek battle with anyone, including each other. Before the battle, Bloodletters march in surprisingly disciplined formations. However, this militaristic attitude is immediately abandoned once the battle begins. In combat, Bloodletters display unmatched viciousness as they seek to inflict as much bloodshed as possible, competing to slaughter their enemies in as gory a manner as they can in the hopes of earning Khorne's favour.

Typically, Bloodletters wield Hellblades, Warp-forged swords capable of cutting through any armour. Bloodletters who demonstrate remarkable strength often seek to tame armoured beasts known as Juggernauts and use them as mounts, becoming known as Bloodcrushers. Others will seek Khorne's favour and become Heralds of Khorne. These enhanced Bloodletters serve as commanders among their lesser kin.

Like other Chaos Daemons, Bloodletters are native to the Warp rather than the material universe. However, Chaos warbands devoted to Khorne or Chaos Undivided can perform summoning rituals in order to summon them from the Warp. So long as they maintain a connection to the Warp, such as through an open portal, entire legions of Bloodletters can enter our reality and fight alongside their mortal worshippers.
