I just had a pretty neat idea.
What if the scientific names for all non terran life in our solar system (like Mercurians, Neptunians, Lunarians etc) had their genus named after the latinized names for their homeworlds from the Barsoom universe, like how the Mars Attacks Martians' biomen in Barsoomus Invadus.
I think we should unlock the Cybertronian article
There is still quite a large amount of information missing from it and I think we could delve into it a bit more.
I know it's a magical planet but...
Does Ephedia from LoliRock count as an alien planet? I mean yes, it is another planet with alien species and crystals, but it doesn't really fit the 'Alien' theme. It's from a magical girl show so it's a bit too princessey to be something that exists on this wiki... right?
Enceladus
Are there any fictional species native to Enceladus that could be put on the wiki? I've noticed a disturbing lack of Enceladian/Enceladans.
W
W are an avian species of spoonbill-like creature native to the planet W of the same name. Their bite is fatal, resulting in disease or death.
W are often aggressive towards anything, even ordinary Spoonbills, their dies mostly consists of Honey Bees and other species of intergalactic life, including humans.
Category questions
Should there be a category for "Ancestors of Man" or is there already one like that? I have made an article on 4 species, three from The Twilight Zone and one from DC, credited with creating humans in their respective works, and I was wondering if there's anything that can fit that. There's other species credited with creating humans too, like the ancient humanoids from Star Trek and the aliens from Skyline.
Also, as for the alien demons category, is there gonna be a description made of it? And should I move all the Doom Hell inhabitant species to it?
Wondering
There's an episode of the Twilight Zone 80s known as "Something in the Walls" and I'm unsure if the wall monsters are truly extradimensional aliens like the characters in the episode suggested (although it seems real likely)
Marshmallow
A Marshmallow is a pan-dimensional being in the planet Marshmallia, they generally have white skin, long hair, and are humanoid, they have the ability to regrow limbs, reproduce asexually (as well as sexually).
A notable marshmallow is Brody, which is one of the few marshmallows to have a YouTube channel.

Zeus species from Rick and Morty
I went ahead and made a page for the Zeus species from Rick and Morty (yes, they are actually called that) because it is an alien species.
The Faun
The faun (Capranthropus faunus) also known as the "silenos" or the "satyr" is a bipedal bovid native to Greece and Rome, although they originally came from Planet Olympus. Males are more common than females, and they were believed to be an all-male species for a while too.
Old 1950s Scifi Novel
Trying to remember an old scifi book that I once read. It was pretty old maybe from the 1950s or 1970s. One of those pulp books. It was a red faded book about a young boy working with his parents and uncle on an ocean research station studying alien life in Earths or one of the Solar System planets seas that were transplanted. One of the lifeforms was a giant monster humanoid herbivorous sea mole that was the size of a whale. I think it was from Mars. At one point the sea mole or digger fought a sperm whale in the sea. There was an ongoing plot of xenophobic terrorists targeting the research outpost due to their paranoia on alien life despite the creature being harmless unless provoked. Does this ring any bells?
New Species Category
I've been going around looking at a few species most notably the Immortal Species, a few races though I have noticed are ones who have a very long rate of maturity, that is species that do not mature for years or even decades. This is just a though idea but maybe we can create a category for this type? Don't exactly have a word to describe this category but I'm sure there is one, a scientific one.
Multiverse Combat: Round 1
This series is hypothetical battles between aliens. Any species (Preferably on this wiki) could be on the next round. Put in the comments what you want to see next.
I present the species. You debate. I read and decide the winner.
Round 1: Martian (War of the Worlds) vs. Xenomorph (Alien)
Interdimensional vs extradimensional
Shouldn't the "extradimensional species" page be called "interdimensional species" or could we at least have that as a category? Because "extradimensional" means it's from a higher (or possibly lower) plane of existence, while interdimensional means of another dimension within the same plane

Hello AvP fans, this post contains a comprehensive list of the
equipment, armour, weapon systems
(including attachments, modifications and ammunition) and
vehicles used by the United States Colonial Marine Corps that I've
adapted from an article on Xenopaedia featuring this list I
created.
I have categorised the contents of this list in accordance with contemporary military classification to most effectively portray the capabilities of the USCM as well as assist those interested in developing any kind of fan RPG etc. or even professional game developers and I am particularly interested in any comments regarding the classification and comprehensiveness of this list.

Allowed content - PLEASE VOTE
Alright, in the last few weeks there have been some discussions about what kind of content should and should not be allowed. So let's try to settle this. I'm doing this in blog form rather than using ASPF:Admin's Council because I believe everyone should vote, not just the admins.
The voting period will be closed on March 15, 2019.
The topics that we should vote for are the following.
- 1 1. Characters.
- 2 2. Locations
- 3 3. Technology
- 4 4. Affiliations
- 5 5. Others
Only the following types of characters will be allowed to have pages on the wiki:
- Unique beings
- Cyborgs
- Mutants
- Hybrids
- Characters of unknown species (as long as they're the only known members of it)
- Characters with ambiguous backgrounds
Pertinent information about notable members of a species may be ad…
Galactic Battles 2018 - Crossover Fan Film...
I came across this and decided to share it with you guys. The following is a fan film that crosses over the universes of Star Wars, Star Trek, Mass Effect and Halo.
Hope you enjoy watching it, and make sure you stay tuned for the post-credit sequence.
IS there a strict definition of what is "official, commercially-published media?"
I was wondering if there was a comunity consensus on what would be allowed. Beacuse I have been finding neew media to enjoy lately like Invincibe and others but I don't know if they would be allowed or not. Basecally I just don't fully understand how to tell if something would be considered "official, commercially-published media."

Mythical Species
I've created a new catagory listing the alien species that were either inspired by mythical creatures or, in their respected universes, inspired said mythical creatures. If you want to, you can help expand the catagory "Mythical Species " by adding various alien species that fits this catagory. Thank you.
Interstellar Timeline
I'm currently working on making a long timeline of events from many "alien" sci fi movies, books, video games, comics, and tv shows. Much like the timeline on the Earth page were there was a timeline comprised of many pop culture sorces that involved Earth. I want to make a similar timeline, but instead of it maping event on Earth in sci fi pop culture it will map the various events of the universe. From things like the Great Time War (Doctor Who), the destruction of the Death Star (Star Wars), the creation of the Old Ones (Lovecraft), as well as the many events in pop culture that happened on Earth. It's going to take a while to make, seeing as how i'm not aware of every extensive lore on the majority of space sci fi. So I want to ask if …
Making your own alien species in the media universe
What alien race will you make in any media universe like Futurama, Star Wars.... Anything alien of your own idea. I'm more of a aquatic and prehistoric style person myself.
Humanoids Classified by Planet of Habitation
I recently added such categorizes as Venusian, Martian, and Jovian Humanoids to the wiki and put them under the category of Venus Inhabitants, Mars Inhabitants, and Jupitor Inhabitants. I did not anticipate that someone would add them to the Humanoid category however they do belong in that category. I feel we are now posed a challenge; how to subcatagorize these categories so they don't clutter the Humanoid category.
I've considered the following;
Humanoids by planet of origin - but the inhabitants category includes more then just natives.
Humanoids by planet of habitation - but species have ways of traveling to many different worlds and this subcategory could lead to a single species being placed in various *planet inhabitants name here* Hum…
Organising categories
I have noticed that there were irrelevant categories added to some characters. There were characters who were added under species categories like Boris the Animal, Roger (American Dad), Darth Vader and Han Solo. The categories were TV Species, Live Action Species and Movie Species. Firstly, you need to think before adding a category to an article. That is all.
help me out
hello I need help with my alien weapons wiki and I would like some of you guys help I will leave a complete description of all that needs editing revising and that needs to come about feel free to use other wikis info I'm just compiling all alien weapons and vehicles into a wiki so come and visit my wiki at http://alein-wepons.wikia.com/wiki/Alein_wepons_Wiki
Community Portal Overhaul
It looks like the ASW:Community Portal page served as the blog system before the blog existed. It should probably contain a link to the recent blog posts, and links to a few of the style guides couldn't hurt. It's a top level page so I wanted to float the idea before making the changes myself.
Rules on vehicles?
I have seen a few pages about vehicles and I know they arn't actually alien species and I can't find a infobox on them like I can for characters. So what are the rules for vehicles? Because I might add a few of the Covenant vehicles since they are alien. (sorry my Enlgish is not so happy)
Need help compiling a list of feminine Alien Races
I am writing an essay on mono-gendered alien species in science fiction where the member of the race are for all intents and purposes considered "female" by human standards.
This includes all female races, asexual races that resemble human females, hermaphrodites that resemble human females, androgynous leaning on female side species.
Any kind of reproduction (if the female race previously had males but now reproduces via cloning that is completely acceptable and totally counts).
Fantasy races are acceptable as long as they are original species and not traditional fantasy creatures (or are a take that is exceptionally alien too the original concept) science fiction races that happen to be fantasy races are allowed as long as they do not orig…
Your ideas for an Earth-based Star Wars spinoff?
If you could do a Star Wars-style film but have it set on Earth, what would you do?
There's no right or wrong answers here - it's just your imagination.
I have a few questions
1. What is your most scary alien? For me its either The Thing or The Flood
2. What is your most badass/cool alien? For me its either Yautja or Xenomorph
3. Which alien do you think is the most alien looking? For me its definetely The Mimics
No mans sky
Has anyone heard of the new game called no mans sky coming out soon? There will be a lot of new aliens to add from that.
