The Bloato is a small predatory species that can be found within the waters of several planets of the Milky Way. Due to their similar appearance, it is possible that it and the smaller species, the Nosey, are related to one another.
Biology[]
Bloatoes are exceptionally large cellular creatures, on the same level as the Snorf. True to its name, it has a very plump, green body, with nine eyes and eight cilia to swim in the water. It also has a small proboscis to skewer into both plant and cell matter.
Behavior[]
The Bloato, even for a small creature, requires a lot of food to support itself. It is often hungry and is aggressive towards smaller cells, sucking their life away through its proboscis.
Although it is aggressive, it will swim away if it does get attacked.
