The Yellow Slimes are one of the many species of Slimes. The Yellow Slime is the most common slime of the Terrarian Cavern Layer.

The Black Slime is a small sized Slime, despite what it's name suggests, the Black Slimes are not Black, they are colored Dark Gray. This species of Slime is highly flammable. The Black Slime can only be found within the Cavern layer of Terraria. The Black Slime has the ability to inflict Temporary Semi-Blindness onto their prey after inflicting a hit.
