A species of cyborgs created by Mental to serve in his armies, Bio-mechanoids are little more than living weapons.
Overview[]
Unlike other species in Mental's Horde, the Bio-mechanoids were created rather than inducted into their ranks. In appearance, a Bio-mechanoid resembles either a giant brain with a monstrous face, or a lump of flesh with a mouth filled with sharpened teeth. Either way, the creature is vat-grown into bipedal weapon platforms, powered by a battery implanted in its skull. The most common Minor Bio-mechanoids stand about 15ft tall and are armed with a pair of pulse lasers, each attached to the creature's flanks. In contrast, the upgraded Major Bio-mechanoids are twice as tall, twice as tough and armed with a pair of rocket launchers.
