The Binders are a alien species.
Biology
The Binders are frail creatures, resembling fairies. They weigh about twenty kilos. They have a torso and limbs vaguely resembling a humanoid's, but possessing several orifices, like mouths, arranged on their iridescent derma. In addition a shimmering fleece of transparent tendrils covers their ethereal frame.
Binders are born in sets of twos, psychically joined from birth. The twins are emotionally as inseparable, making separation a traumatic and sometimes deadly outcome.

Binders are referred and designated a number.
