The Betans were a race from the Marvel Comic Universe from the planet Beta, the third planet in the Mirpet System in the Milky Way Galaxy.

The Betans were gray skinned humanoid, that possessed vestigial wings that enabled them to fly in low gravity environments.
History[]
For some explicable reason the Betans had been warring with another race called the Megans for centuries. Their war took its toll on their world, with both sides conscripting large gargantuan dinosaurs to their cause.
Culture[]
Their level of technology was superior to that of humanity, possessing spaceflight laser assault weaponry. They has had technology called an oxygen sheathe that allowed them to work in the vacuum of space. The could open small warp portals to travel at short distances.
