The Bearded Amprat is a special type of furred creature that was discovered by Captain Charlie on PNF-404.
Description[]
This rodent-like creature is, by extension to numerous other animals discovered on PNF-404, the most "mammalian" creature discovered so far. It is very rodent like in nature, resembling a small white guinea pig, with brown spots over its head. That, combined with its long straight hairs in front of its face, give it a pattern that resembles a skull when looked at from the front. Its feet are hairless, green, and lack any claws.
Behavior[]
It is normally a fairly docile creature, despite being a carnivorous creature. When it does go hunting for fairly small game, it will start rubbing together its long whiskers, which in turn build up static electricity. This effect can be strong enough to paralyze prey.
As a mammal-like creature, it's been studied to produce milk for its young as with many mammals found on Earth. It is hypothesized that this behavior will evolve a more complex taxonomy according to Olimar's notes.
