Battle Droids, also known as combat droids or war droids, are a classification of any unit or class of Droid that are designed for combat purposes.

There have been many different variants and models of Battle Droid created within the galaxy, meaning that most droids look completely different from one another. However, the most popular series of Battle Droid, the B-series, had a distinct appearance, as their design was based on their Geonosian creators.
