Barnaby's Thrust is a Venusian herbivore. The species can gallop very fast, but not quite as fast as a horse.
Their heads are shielded by a bony plate, which is also used for communication. They can change the color of the plate to send signals to their herd members and warn them about predators.
They have eight photoreceptors that they can use to look for dangers in all directions at once. The meat of this species is slightly poisonous, which is why there are only few predators which hunt Thrusks. In humans, eating the meat causes diarrhea. They are nonetheless hunted by humans for their skin, which is made into leather boots.
