The Bagmims were a race native to the Outer Rim planet Xochtl. They joined the New Republic. They had a collective society which, while not exactly a hive mentality, worked as a committee. This led to interesting consequences when they were admitted to the Republic's Navy, for entire ships had to be crewed with Bagmims in order to allow them to make decisions as a group. They were a tenacious race, especially when confronted.
