Avions, a.k.a. Avionians or Bird People, are a sapient species of winged humanoid simians which inhabit the Mystic Mountains on planet Eternia. They live in the kingdom of Avion, built on a series of horizontal platforms amidst the ragged mountainous peaks.
Their ability to fly is granted by the magical artifact known as the Egg of Avion. Any Avion who spends more than a few days away from the Egg's influence will lose their powers.
