History[]
Primax -408.24 Epsilon[]
After being defeated during the battle of Decepticon City, the evil Autobots found themselves unable to make the trip all the way back to Cybertron. Sky Lynx did not have the fuel reserves to lug all of those housed within him such a distance. To alleviate the load, several injured Autobots were cast out into space, only for them to be met by the benevolent Unicron. Promising them enlightenment, Unicron reformatted two of these wayward souls into Autotroopers.
After returning to Cybertron and helping Nova Prime capture Rodimus Prime's troops, the heroic Autobots were startled to find the planet shifting beneath their feet. Primus, the dreaded Order-Bringer, had awakened and was assuming his colossal robot form. Managing to avoid getting crushed during the transformation, the Autotroopers blinded Primus at a pivotal moment during his battle against his "sister" and fellow planet-bot Gaea, allowing her to vanquish her opponent while Nova Prime and his troops flew off into space. As Gaea assumed her own planet form. the heroic Autobots settled upon this New Cybertron to be a part of a more peaceful Cybertronian civilization.
Ratchet's transformation into an Autotrooper activated his backup body, which was programmed to house his consciousness should his original body be damaged or reformatted beyond repair.
Malgus Cluster[]
A lone Autotrooper was one of the many Autobots there to celebrate the return of Sentinel Prime, who swore to take revenge on Shockwave for what he did to Ultra Magnus. More Autotroopers were shown apprehending "Decepticon fugitives" in a propaganda film public service announcement from Sentinel "Magnus".
An Autotrooper rushed to Cheetor's chaotic arrest of Ransack and Crumplezone. Several Autotroopers were seen at the Metroplex working for Cybertron Defense Command. They performed many duties including escorting troublemakers from the stadium of The Motor Master's Stunt Convoy, reporting dispatches to Sideswipe, and assisting Optimus Prime and Ironfist with their Toxitron camouflage.
Uniend Cluster[]
Autotroopers were aboard the Arclight during its journey to Earth and managed escaped in escape pods before the ship was destroyed. Becoming scouts for the Earthbound Autobots, they are in charge of defending High Grand from enemy Decepticons and mining for Energon underneath Central City
Precursor World[]
Several Warriors of the Seven Lights resembling Autotroopers were members of the White Order of the Primus Vanguard. One such Autotrooper was a member of Order leader White Gallant Convoy's retinue as they traveled to the Order's headquarters on the White Planet. Two more Autotroopers manned the telecommunications array inside as Gallant observed the struggles of the extradimensional warriors Star Convoy and Super Megatron on the Blue Planet.

Notes[]
- The Autotroopers featured in Animated have a unique insignia, making the Autobot symbol more badge-like. However, this insignia does not appear on their Shattered Glass Animated counterparts.
- The positive-universe Autotroopers also wear the 256-OZU-004 body-type that is employed by Animated Autobots such as Ratchet and Ironhide.
- An Animated-style Autotrooper made an Easter-egg appearance in the Transformers: Deviations one-shot as one of the many victims of the Battle of Autobot City during events similar to The Transformers: The Movie.
- Two different variations of the Autotroopers appear in Fan Publication's Shattered Glass continuity. The Autobot Secret Police's Autotroopers are functionally an evil mirror version of their Animated counterparts whereas the Knights of Unicron's Autotroopers fulfil the same role as the Sweeps featured in Generation 1-inspired media.
- The Knights of Unicron Autotroopers are modeled after the Combiner Wars Deluxe Class Offroad mold with a unique head design based on Generation 1 Trailbreaker.
- According to BotCon collaborator Shawn D. Tessmann, these Autotroopers were at one stage intended to be the BotCon 2016 troop builder set. However, the Knights of Unicron Autotroopers in the Shattered Glass comic do not sport the same arms as Trailbreaker.
- An earlier concept for these Autotroopers was based on the Generations: Thrilling 30 Deluxe Class Trailbreaker mold with a head design similar to that same toyline's Hoist mold.[1]
- The Autotroopers featured in Jagex's Transformers Universe video game resemble the Autobot Snipers from the Transformers: War for Cybertron video game. This model was designed by both Mark Brassington[2] and Jay Howse.[3]
