The Areore are an Ornithoid humanoid species featured in Star Trek, once they were a formidable space-faring civilization however after seeing nothing but war and tragedy in the galaxy they hid their technology and lived on their planet terrified of the greater universe.

The Areore are average, humanoid avians that feather color varies among individuals and includes, green, black, yellow, grey and blue. They also possesses pairs of wings on their backs which enables them on flight.
