The Arceans are the race that made first contact with humans on August 19th, 2038. At first it was peaceful until a man by the name of The Traveler altered the timeline turning it into an invasion. He then had to manually change it back to the way it was through an Arcean custom known as Assembly which is similar to human courtcases. They eventually became founding members of the Intragalactic Alliance.
