The Anubians are a sapient, spacefaring species of cynocephalic humanoids.
Biology[]
Anubians are humanoids with dog-like heads. On Earth, they seem to wear metallic masks, perhaps indicating that they're not suited to survive in Earth's atmosphere. They can release energy discharges from their hands, although this might be a technological ability rather than a natural one.
Culture and society[]
Anubians travel in pyramidal ships equipped with advanced cloaking technology. They seem to wear metallic masks and their mouths glow when they speak. The aesthetic aspects of their culture are reminiscent of ancient Egypt.
History[]
For thousands of years, the Anubians have been enslaved by the Huducts, who used mind-controlling torcs to keep them subservient. The Anubians were liberated thanks to K9's efforts, and afterwards, the robotic dog left the planet believing that the Anubians and Huducts would be able to live in peace with each other.
Unfortunately, after K9 left, the Anubians reverse-engineered the torcs and used them to enslave the Huducts. Determined never to be made servants again, the Anubians started invading other worlds and enslaving the native populations.
Besides the Huducts, other species that have been invaded by the Anubians include the Aeolians, Alpha Centaurans, Green Aliens, Jixen, Mandrels and Sea Devils. In 2050, they tried to invade Earth, but were ultimately defeated.
