Allicons are a race of alligator-like mechanoids occasionally descended from Cybertronians who are often affiliated with the Quintessons.

Biology

Anatomy

Allicons share a similar biology to other Cybertronians, except they transform into robotic bipedal animals that are vaguely crocodilian in appearance.

Powers and abilities

Allicons share many of the same abilities as Cybertronians.

Much like Earth alligators, Allicons are capable of breathing underwater.

Allicons can devour a full-sized robot in a few seconds with their razor-sharp teeth and claws.

Allicons are slightly smarter than Sharkticons to the point of being capable of speech on a regular basis.

Weaknesses

Individual Allicons are not especially durable, as they can be easily defeated by well-trained Cybertronians.

Allicons are programmed to malfunction if they resist direct orders from Quintessons.

Culture and society

Much like the Sharkticons, the Allicons serve the Quintessons as enforcer-units and are often used as guards for some of the latter race's more important members.

Allicons have been pretty thoroughly stripped of their free will due to the Quintessons' altercation of their programming. As such, an Allicon's primary objective is to punish the judged.

Notes

• The Allicons were erroneously created during the production of The Transformers: The Movie, as the script originally called for the Allicons' scene to feature Sharkticons. The original concept was retained in the film's first comic adaptation, which features Sharkticons in place of the Allicons.
• The Allicons went unnamed for many years, with the script for the Transformers Generation 1 cartoon episode "The Killing Jar" referring to them as "Quintesson Guards". The name "Allicon" was generally used by fans online before eventually being canonized in Dreamwave's 2004 Transformers: More Than Meets the Eye comic series.
• The Allicons did not receive any merchandise until the War for Cybertron: Earthrise toyline in 2020.
