Alien Species

An unnamed alien species that act as thralls to the Space-Spiders.

Biology[]

These aliens resembled armadillos the size of sheep, with jaws like alligators. They possess claws like that of a bear's, six legs and insectile eyes.

The species appears to not be highly intelligent, only being able to process orders given to them via organic programming through a medium from the Space-Spiders digestive tract.

The creatures are ruthless in following their commands of their masters, executing to the letter. However that makes them unable to adapt or even think independently.

Culture[]

The aliens were used by the Space-Spiders as shock troops to invade the surface of Earth, where they hunted the human population to near extinct. The aliens killed and eat anything they could see. After the humans were driven to controllable numbers the drones were used to maintain farms to harvest the human population that were bred to be livestock.

At the same time they maintained a preserve of shorts in North America, which contained the last remnants of humanity. There the human forming the Homeland were under the mistaken impression that they had escape alien notice. In truth the Space-Spiders only allow the Homeland to exist as a alternative source for their human gene pool for continued meat production. To prevent the Homeland from ever discovering the human farms, the drones were set to the Borderlands to dissuade encroachment into the area where the farms existed.

However centuries later the existence of the farms became common knowledge after a human criminal journeyed past the Borderlands, uncovering the alien operation. After returning to civilization with a human female liberated from the farms, the Homelands, realizing the precariousness their society existed at the graces of the aliens overlords, altered their policy to avoid a direct confrontation.

Instead the human farms being liberated, human children were rescued to supplement the population of the Homeland. Through these endeavors the humans under the nose of the drones extracted large number of unintelligent men and women, creating a slave caste for the Homeland.

After the Space-Spiders were driven from Earth by the Cubic, ruining the human farms during a surprise raid. The humans from the Homeland then took advantage of the Space-Spiders absence, converting the drones still following their primitive programming and domesticated them to being beasts of burden.

Presumable after the Cubic returned to lay claim on Earth and the breakdown of negotiations of the High Lords, the drones on Earth wiped out of existence by the Cubic's bombardment.
