The aliens that appeared in the 2011 film The Darkest Hour.

Powers and Abilities

Invisibility: They usually can't be seen by people
Energy Shield: They are completely surrounded by a nearly impenetrable energy shield
Flight: They moved about by floating
Energy Tentacles: They can produce tentacles made solely out of energy that can wrap around things
Disintegration: Anything that they touched or were touched by turned into dust
Electricity Sensing: They see lifeforms by the electric signals produced by the brain and other organs.
X-Ray Vision: They see through inanimate objects
they can also shoot balls of electricity but it takes them a lot of energy

KWeaknesses

Their presence activated car alarms and lit up all lightbulbs, even ones that aren't screwed in. They can't see through glass. Hitting them with microwaves disrupts their shield. Their shield can only be affected by microwaves however, their actual body is much less durable being vulnerable to both fire and bullets. Fragments from dead ones can be thrown through the shield somehow knocking out their shield and flight capability.
