The aliens from the 2007 horror movie Night Skies are short, slim humanoids with wrinkled grey skin and large black eyes, whose starships were apparently responsible for the Phoenix Lights event of Arizona, 1997. In that year the aliens abducted a number of Humans on an isolated road following a traffic accident, and performed experiments on them for obscure purposes. They are capable of projecting telepathic illusions and otherwise playing with the minds of their victims. Their starships are fully organic on the inside, filled with slimy web-like tissue which can be used to wrap around abductees, rendering them immobilized like a fly in a spider web.

- The movie is based on a true story which took place in 1997 during the Phoenix Lights phenomenon. The aliens appear to belong to the species referred to by ufologists as "Greys".
