It would be interesting to make a category for eusocial species. How can I propose or do it?
What's on your mind?

Ok, so I saw Alien: Romulus not too long ago and, final verdict, it was pretty good. I was a little skeptic going in since the past few Alien movies and their spin-offs have been rather disappointing, and Disney making one just seemed like a bad choice. I was pleased to see that my expectations were surpassed. However, there are a few issues I have with it that, if corrected, would have really made it even better.
Issue 1: Ret-conning.
This may be just a minor nitpick, but it bothers me. The movie retcons things or even contradicts other movies. Like how that team explored the remains of the Nostromo. What remains? The thing had 3 nuclear blasts go off (yes, they were definitely nuclear level with how massive they were), there should have been nothing left, everything should have been completely incinerated. Or how the team found the still living remains of the original Xenomorph that were somehow still alive and in that fossilized cocoon state. I mean, come on, Ripley blew it out of the airlock and then blasted it with the ship's jets, how is it still alive a year later? Why not just have it be the corpse, it was cloned either way? Like I said, small nitpicks, but they bother me.
Issue 2: Callback lines
OMG, I hate these things. Taking famous quotes and just having new characters say them just to say them for blatant attempts to feed of audience nostalgia. They feel lame and out of place. Like with Andy say Bishop's line of "I prefer the term artificial person myself" or "Get away from her you b****". These are show-horned lines that are forcibly inserted that make me roll my eyes. They're not nostalgic or something I want to see/hear, they're stupid and cringey, and they don't feel natural since it's obvious what they're doing. This isn't exclusive to this movie either, I hate when movies do this in general(note, this is different from characters having a specific catchphrase that they regularly say).
Issue 3: Xenomorph development speed
This is the biggest issue I have that I just can't get over, and that's the speed in which Xenomorphs now develop. In Alien 1-4 and AvP, it was clearly established that impregnation from a Facehugger takes a minimum of a few hours to a few days, and then development of a Chestburster takes a minimum of another few hours to a few days, with the newly hatched Chestbursting taking a couple hours to grow to full size. But ever since AvP:R, it's only taking a few minutes for the whole process. In this movie, Facehugger impregnation and then Chestburster development and hatching took like 5-10 minutes. It's so outlandishly fast and unrealistic that it's ridiculous, even beyond the suspension of disbelief. Now, I've heard that the black goo sped up the process, and while I still think it's too fast, that at least offers some explanation, but speed was happening in other movies too, case and point, in AvP:R, someone was face-hugged and impregnated before they even lost consciousness because the Facehugger was pulled off them in time, yet a few minutes later, a Chestburster came out of them, so it wasn't the black goo. It's all so rushed that I can't take it seriously. Yeah, I get the point of needing to move the plot along, but come on, having a process that's supposed to take a minimum of a few hours to a few days now happening in less than 5-10 minutes, 5-10 MINUTES.
Like I said, these were small nitpicks and issues, but I feel like they were simple fixes that could have and would have made the movie so much better. Anyone else agree?
Because I think he's alien robot.
Should the aliens from the From Space game be in here? It would make sence since they are aliens but...

I have made a wiki (yet again) for you to make random alien species! Basically, this wiki, fan ideas edition.
I created a alien species discord server, looking for mods
Why is davy jones human sized while cthulhu and other characters with a cthulhu derived design are huge?
What is your opinon on this subject?
Who else on here has watched FriendZSpace?
I thought since it is a creature from the Abyss (which is another plane of existence), it would qualify as an alien. Let me know what you think guys :)
